Variable Content
Beautiful, functional website design is essential for today’s businesses. What is the first thing a potential client is going to do when they hear about you? Look you up online! UI is important now more than ever before. Yes, your website should look beautiful, but it should also be informed by your target audience, and the interface needs to be easy for them to interact with.
Are you certain that your website tells potential clients everything you want them to know? Let’s make a website worthy of coming back to.The Whittemore House
The Whittemore House is an elegant mansion located in Washington D.C. With a rich history of affluent women, this was a dream job for The Adventure Agency! Currently the location of the Women’s National Democratic Club, this gorgeous historical mansion can be rented for a large number of events (they rent out each room of the house), and has great historical value. Built between 1892 and 1894, it began as a private home for opera singer Sarah Adams Whittemore, and was later listed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1973 and was granted museum status in 2000. Capturing the historical feeling, while introducing details of an event space were a fun and unique exercise!
“Megan Gopp was and continues to be wonderful to work with. She is responsive, professional and is always able to interpret and implement my ideas (mostly, my ramblings) successfully. She follows a structured and logical process and was able to produce a gorgeous, responsive and user-friendly website on a tight timeline with short notice. When edits came up down the line, she was always happy to take time out of her day to help. I’ve not had such a pain-free experience with a freelance developer before. Megan is dedicated to her work and it shows.”

Hairess
Hairess is America’s largest wig accessory supplier. Their website was designed by an external company, then brought to The Adventure Agency to develop in WooCommerce. The project involved over 400 SKU’s, and hidden pricing until the user is logged in. Users must be vetted and proven to be distributors, so the process of creating an account had to be altered to include an approval system. Once the user is logged in, they may see pricing and for many products, choose colors from a list of variable options, and receive bulk discounts when they purchase a certain number of each product.
Leahy-ifp
As part of their total rebrand in 2014, website design was a huge undertaking! The Leahy website needed to showcase the many services they offer, as well as their multiple brands and products – with sell sheets and distributor information. The UI of the website had to follow their brand guidelines, as their previous website was busy and did not follow any brand consistency. Deliverables included:

Stonemark Wealth Management
Stonemark Wealth Management required a complete rebrand after they broke away from their parent company. The feeling they wanted their new brand to connote was that of a strong, professional, seasoned company with natural elements. Mountains are the perfect symbol to check all of those boxes. While creating their brand identity was important, they also wanted a website that stood out from other wealth managers. Their website utilizes a full video background, showcasing the different activities people tend to enjoy while retired, as well as some nice mountain-scapes. Introducing the gold color to their website helped to break up the monotone blues and draw attention to certain areas.

Iron Financial
Iron Financial was looking for a creative take on their “iron” theme. The engine on the homepage was altered to look like warn-in iron, to connote their years experience and expertise. The blown out engine was designed to represent Iron Financial as a whole. Each piece of the engine is necessary in order for the engine to work. Same goes for the team and services Iron offers. The individual pieces were all titled with the name of an important element at Iron Financial.

FruitBlendz Purees
FruitBlendz is a specialty thickened puréed fruit brand. Thickened foods are extremely important for people suffering with Dysphagia (one of the leading swallowing disorders). Dysphagia effects people all over the world, but until 2019, there were no standards for food preparation to keep those effected from choking. A group called IDDSI formed to create a set of standards, and introduced them to the marketplace in 2019. FruitBlendz Fruit Purées have been around for many years, but underwent a rebrand to show their IDDSI designation and compliance. Their website is intended to be a source for caregivers and families of those effected. FruitBlendz not only wants to be the product of choice, but also the source for education. The branding and design was meant to feel professional while also family-friendly and relatable. We designed and developed this website in WordPress.

Fin-Tech Company
This is a Fin-Tech website concept to serve as a welcome to new clients who were interested in signing up for their platform. This example is for a marketplace where financial advisors can go to find pre-vetted companies to help with their business needs, many of whom offer discounts. The website was designed in a flat-art look.
